The Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the expansion of Rooster Joe Coffee with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, welcoming the locally owned coffee shop to the Versailles business community.
Owned by Joe and Michelle McClurg, Rooster Joe Coffee began with a dream more than 20 years in the making. The couple envisioned creating a welcoming gathering place where quality coffee, fresh food, and friendly service would bring people together. Following the success of their Coldwater location, they have brought that same vision to Versailles.
Rooster Joe Coffee offers a variety of handcrafted coffee and espresso beverages, along with fresh food and locally sourced pastries. The business proudly serves coffee from Cincinnati-based Deeper Roots Coffee and emphasizes supporting fellow Ohio businesses and local suppliers.
A Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting was held for The Porch Cafe & Bakery on August 31, 2026. Owned by Versailles native Alayna Rindler, The Porch will celebrate its grand opening Friday and Saturday in downtown Versailles. Inspired by memories of sitting on her grandparents’ front porch, Rindler hopes The Porch becomes a “community gathering space, where people can meet friends, family, and really become a place to cultivate community with good quality food and coffee.”

A Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting was held Saturday, February 29, 2020 to celebrate the grand re-opening of Worch Memorial Public Library Children’s area.

The Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Made Apparel to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, celebrating the locally owned boutique's expansion into Versailles.
Owned by Brooke and Braelen Bader, Made Apparel originally established itself in Celina, Ohio, offering a selection of clothing, locally inspired merchandise, school spirit wear, and products from other vendors. The business has grown through its commitment to offering unique products and creating an inviting shopping experience.
The new Versailles location marks an exciting chapter for Made Apparel, providing an opportunity to serve additional communities throughout the surrounding area. The store plans to feature merchandise representing local schools, including Versailles, Russia, and Fort Loramie, alongside its existing selection of apparel and specialty items.
